NARFE:: Interested in joining NARFE (National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association)? NARFE Fairfax Chapter 737 meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month except for July and August, at the American Legion Hall at 3939 Oak Street, Fairfax, VA. They meet at 11:30am for the social hour, with lunch served at 12:30 pm. Each month they have interesting programs and different speakers.
Friday Night Live ~ Herndon Rocks! is back for the season. This is a popular, FREE outdoor concert series and held on the beautiful Town Green in Downtown Herndon, VA. It features the most popular local and regional acts from up and down the east coast. Most of the bands play rock and roll covers from classic to modern rock and also offer some variety with a little reggae, funk and original music thrown in. The event begins around 6:30 p.m. and ends around 10:30 p.m.
