The City of Fairfax Chocolate Lovers Festival is coming up on February 7-8, 2015. Enjoy the Taste of Chocolate, the Chocolate Challenge, the ever-popular Kiwanis Chocolate Chip Pancake Breakfast, open houses at historic buildings and much more.
The Chocolate Express provides free shuttle service between event locations during the festival.
All shuttles on the route are fully accessible. The Chocolate Express will run on Saturday from 9:30am to 5:30pm and on Sunday from 11:45am to 4:30pm.

Sugarloaf Craft Festival is coming up January 30 - February 1, 2015 at the Dulles Expo Center. It features more than 250 of the nation’s most accomplished fine artists and craft designers offering their one-of-a-kind work in functional and decorative pottery, sculpture, glass, jewelry, fashion, wood, metal, furniture, home accessories, photography, and fine art. The Festival also includes delicious gourmet foods for sampling and purchase, live music, interactive children’s entertainment, and live demonstrations by talented artists. Admission is $10.00.
Sweet History Walking Tour in the City of Fairfax on Saturday, January 31st from 4:30pm to 6pm. Visit history in Old Town Fairfax’s Historic District as the sun begins to set. Tour begins at the Ratcliffe Allison House, 10209 Main Street, Fairfax and includes Old Town Hall, Historic Fairfax County Courthouse, the Ford House and ends at De Clieu Coffee with complimentary hot chocolate. All participants are encouraged to bring a flashlight. Cost: $10 per participant. With one paying adult, free admission is provided for one child, age 5 and under. Pre-registration required. Fundraiser to support Alzheimer's Research (thanks to NARFE and the 29 Diner) February 1 - February 28, 2015. Help support and raise money for this cause by dining at the 29 Diner, 10536 Fairfax Blvd, Fairfax, VA during the month of February. Mention NARFE or Alzheimer's Research and 10% of your ticket will be donated to this organization.
